COURSE OVERVIEW

Built on more than 20 years of operational testing, The Caniops Laser Protocol teaches handlers how to direct their dogs to targets during the day or night, with speed, accuracy, and focus.

Whether the mission is apprehending a specific individual, searching a defined area or vehicle, or investigating a suspicious object, this protocol helps the dog move directly to the indicated target while ignoring distractions along the route.

This laser-targeting method is designed to enhance mission security and expand the effectiveness of both single- and dual-purpose K9 teams.

Throughout the program, handlers will review real-world deployment scenarios and learn how to adapt the technique to meet their unit’s specific operational needs.
